The challenge with the Red Bull Art of Motion videos is the turnaround time. They usually need to be made in half a days’ work. As always it takes team work to make any video worth watching and this clip was no exception, so a big thanks to anyone and everyone involved in making this happen!

Take a look at all the best bits from this year’s ultimate freerunning competition.
“Red Bull Art of Motion 2014 brought together urban body artists from 12 countries to mix art and sports when they performed on a course that went over roofs, domes, terraces and swimming pools for a timed run of 90 seconds. Witness their amazing acrobatics in the video player above.
Watching the creativity, flow and execution of the 18 freerunners, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, it becomes obvious why they are called urban artists, although the world-class athleticism on display is also undeniable. Surrounded by iconic scenery, once again Red Bull Art of Motion created living art this weekend.”

“Everything is set for the ultimate freerunning gathering on the iconic island of Santorini, Greece. There’s just one day left before the finals of Red Bull Art of Motion, on Saturday, October 4, 3pm (CET) so let’s take a glimpse at the competition that’s about to amaze fans from all over the world.
The elite of the sport, 18 highly skilled and hard trained urban artists, have gathered in the Cycladic island to celebrate a day devoted to their passion, freerunning. This year all athletes will compete in three heats of six, with the best two of each heat advancing to the Grand Final.
Cory DeMeyers (USA) will have a hard time defending his 2013 title, as his fellow athletes Jesse La Flair (USA) and Aleksandr Baiturin (RUS) promise to give their best to claim a place on the podium. At the same time, Pavels “Pasha” Petkuns (LAT) is back on track, while fourteen more athletes who grabbed their ticket through the online and onsite qualifiers, will do their best to change the odds. Will the “favourites” manage to dominate or will newcomers stand in their way?”
Péter Besenyei is a veteran and founding member of the Red Bull Air Race, but even this challenge must have tested the 57-year-old Hungarian’s nerve – and he is someone who has flown upside-down just a few metres above the River Danube in his home capital of Budapest.
